Qi Luo

Qi Luo

I am a Professor in the School of Computer Science and Technology at Shandong University. I received my Ph.D. and M.S. in Computer Science and Technology from Shandong University, and my B.S. from Northeastern University. During my Ph.D., I was advised by Prof. Xiuzheng Cheng and Prof. Dongxiao Yu. Prior to joining Shandong University, I was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, working with Prof. Song Guo, and at the University of New South Wales, working with Prof. Wenjie Zhang. I also worked as a Researcher at AI-Powered Financial Technologies Ltd. under the supervision of Prof. Xiaohua Jia.

My research focuses on the management and mining of graph data, spanning methodologies from classical graph theory to cutting-edge AI techniques. My work spans:

  • Graph Data Mining and Graph Analysis
  • Graph Databases and Query Optimization
  • Graph Reasoning and Graph Foundation Models
  • Graph Security, Privacy, and Trustworthy AI
  • Graph-based Agents and LLM-Augmented Graph Systems
